After spending 9 years putting all my energy and enthusiasm into raising my own family I returned to the teaching profession that I love.  I am energetic and highly motivated, committed to encouraging and nurturing children in a safe and rewarding environment, and I am resourceful.

Playschool Deputy Leader

I am a mum of two boys.  I started my career in childcare working as a Nursery Nurse assistant, where I enjoyed my time working with the preschool age group.  I have completed my NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and am keen to further my knowledge and skills.
 
I live locally to Whaddon Under Fives, my eldest son attended the playschool and my youngest currently attends now.  I am glad to be working within a small team that gel so well and being a part of the high standards we wish to offer all of our parents and children. I am a pleasant person to be around and have a very organised and bubbly personality.  I can understand and relate to each child’s individual needs.

I joined the team her at Whaddon last February, and am enjoying every minute.  I completed my NVQ Level 3 in childcare Learning & Development in January 2010.  My previous employment was for a large after-school club in Buckingham where I worked for 4 years.

I have two children of my own, aged 11 and 7.  I very much enjoy working alongside the children, parents and collegues here at Whaddon and am very proud to be part of the playschool.
